Amusement Rides

Any ride that is to operate in Ontario must be licensed by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). A ride may be as small and simple as an inflated bouncing castle, or as large as a major roller-coaster. Sawyer Duncan Engineering has extensive experience in assisting operators to obtain these licenses. We perform a compliance audit of the ride in accordance with the Amusement Devices Act which is submitted to the TSSA as a major part of the application package. Company President, Richard Sawyer, is a full voting member of the Technical Advisory Committee for CSA Standard Z267 "Safety Code for Amusement Rides".
